I am a Vietnamese artist, and I emigrated to Finland in 2008. While in Vietnam, I studied to be an art teacher at the University of Vietnam from 2002-2007 (Ha Noi Industrial of Fine Art University). While in Vietnam, I had large and small exhibitions, and in doing so, sold about a hundred of my oil paintings. In Finland, I have found that Finnish nature gives me tremendous themes for my paintings, which often feature the delightful Fennic forests, trees, lakes, flowers, and open landscapes, which I explore in great detail.

I enjoy painting people and animals too, delighting in creating facial expressions, particularly eyes, which are my specialty in bringing a depth of feeling to my paintings. Intense reds, yellows, greens, blues, oranges, and browns in various hues dominate my work. It is the design of the lines in the paintings that enhance the paintings’ psychological aspects; it is the secret colour combinations that determine the emotions in my work; the lines and colours harmonize discreetly with each other,  instilling soul in each creation.

I believe in the empowering and therapeutic effect of a paintings on each viewer. My desire is to present and distribute my work to art lovers all over the world.
